About the Laboratory

Welcome to the Ubiquitous Computing and Security (UCS) Laboratory of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Dongguk University, Seoul, Korea. The University is located in Chung-Mu-Ro (Centre of Seoul) which is the mecca of Korea film industry. Most of the famous Korean cultures and arts are easily accessible from around the University. A lot of "Korea Wave" movie stars and K-pop singers are attending the Univerisity or gradutes from the University. You may meet "Korea Wave" stars on campus by accident.

For Korean Graduate Students

Supervisor will provide one-to-one tutoring service to all graduate students according to their personal characteristics and academic backgrounds. You can consult on the course works to be taken in Master Course via department. You may contact Dr. Bongkyo Moon with inquiry concerning admission, scholarships, and expenses. During writing up your MS or Ph.D. thesis, you will overcome the limit of your ability and can achieve great job in your research areas.

For International Graduate Students

UCS laboratory welcomes inquiries regarding admissions for Master or Ph.D course from students of China, Mongolia, Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thai, India, Russia, Uzbekistan, Iran, Ireland, USA and any other countries. You may contact Dr. Bongkyo Moon with inquiry concerning admission, scholarships, and expenses. You can also find more detail information about SRD (Study and Research at Dongguk University) Scholarship for Excellent International Students, which was launched in Spring 2009.

As international students are accepted case by case with flexibility of personal backgrounds, it is important that applications are mailed at least a few months in advance. Ordinarily the foreign applicant is not required to take the entrance examination or its equivalent. However, it is essential that all applicants present the evidence of English or Korean language competency and satisfactory or better performance in their previous studies.
